HD2line Pro - Class One LC Display Series

HD2line PRO represents the newest generation Broadcast LCD Monitors from Penta, utilizing state-of-the-art video/audio processing hardware combined with the most precise LC Display Technology available today.
The HD2line PRO Series is based on Penta`s exclusive high-precision 16 Bit Display engine, and 10 Bit full HD Panels. In designing these monitors, the priority was to achieve the full performance and capabilities required by Broadcast Professionals. There is no compromise in core features like colour accuracy, resolution, precise imaging and picture quality. By combining these features with a sophisticated color management algorithm makes HD2line Pro the ideal instrument for critical image monitoring

The HD2line Pro Series of professional Broadcast Monitors use a modular slot design for custom configuration and easy service. Even Powersupplies can be changed in the field without opening the cabinet. Inputs can be configured according to individual needs. Three input board slots are available. Optional boards can be installed in any board slot, and in almost any combination for maximum flexibility. A multi-format 3G/HD/SD-SDI input with an optional Fiber Optic Module supports data rates up to 3 Gb/s and accepts SD-SDI, HD-SDI, Dual-Link HD-SDI, and 3G-SDI. Accepted signal formats amongst others: 480i/29.97, 576i/25, 720p/50 and 720p/60, 10-bit/12-bit RGB 4:4:4, 1080psf/23.98, 1080p/23.98, 1080psf/24, 1080p/24, 1080psf/25, 1080p/25, 1080i/25, 1080psf/30, 1080p/30 and 1080i/30(29.97), 10-bit 4:2:2 1080p/50 and 1080p/60(59.94). Multiple analog and digital audio I/O modules complement the range of available options, including discrete analog or digital inputs and de-embedded audio outputs.

HD2line Pro monitors can display a variety of additional information needed by professionals. This includes  precise 16 Channel Audio Level Meters, static and dynamic UMD, Timecode (VITC) display, two independent Timers, a WSS Indicator, Closed Caption Decoding (608/708) and  a Dolby Signal Indicator.  In addition, various markers can be used, e.g. for aspect ratio,  safe area and center. In addition to norm settings according to SPMTE and EBU specifications, each marker can be set manually. What’s more, users can also choose to display two safe area markers at the same time.
The color, brightness, horizontal/vertical position, and width of any graphical element can all be controlled to your individual requirement.

Built into the DCS Software (Display Control Suite) is also a Centralised Monitor wall Control. A graphical orientated, intuitive and user friendly software is provided for real time or offline monitor wall configuration. The remote control software gives access to all parameters on individual monitors as well as pre-defined groups of monitors in a larger system or OB van.
A complex monitor wall can easily be created by drag and drop monitors into your layout. DCS gives a perfect overview of the settings of each monitor. HD2line PRO Broadcast LCD Monitors integrate easily with existing Tally systems and controllers. Dynamic and Static UMD / Tally support is provided via Ethernet network or up to 12 GPI contact closures, each  GPI is individual configurable. In addition, an optional hardware control panel is available.
